The following is information on the mattress choices as pertains to the Sico Wallbed mechanisms. All mattresses are designed and warranted for wallbed use. All come with the same spring system (except the Tempur Select which is all foam). All are one-sided mattresses requiring no turning over, just rotating. None will require deep-pocket sheets. The upgrade selections offer more cushion between one body and the spring.

Goldcrest

The Goldcrest is a firm mattress, much like you would find in a quality hotel.

Royal Plush

The Royal Plush mattress is the first upgrade selection and is a Luxury-firm pillow-top mattress with much more cushion between one body and the spring. It is extremely comfortable!

Tempur Select

The Tempur Select is a Memory Foam mattress, nearly identical to a Tempurpedic mattress, but using memory foam from Americas foam manufacturer instead of Swedens. Tests have rated this memory foam better in terms of deflection and heat dissipation. It is the same foam that is used in the seats of the Space Shuttle. People LOVE this mattress...they initially love the Royal Plush but then lay on this one and like it much more. Other manufacturers sells their mattresses at almost triple the price you will pay for this one.

You can also use your own mattress as long as it is less than 10" in thickness, and weighs less than 90 pounds.
